Hello;want one advice!
In these last 15 days does it’s good to do PYQ from 1995 to 2023.Because I found atleast 15 question(direct+indirect repeation)+Practice from these make confindent. So it’s good to only do PYQ in last days?
Hey Kartik,
So sorry for the delay in replying.
Regarding your question, we do PYQs not just because the questions will be repeated, but also to understand the mindset of those who are setting the paper, and prepare accordingly. The second purpose is more important.
In last 15 days, I will personally recommend ensuring 2 revisions of all subjects, and you can refer PYQs from last 4-5 years along with subject study.
Another way, if you want to refer PYQs only – you should read questions, trace the source of the question from your notes/books and do that particular subtopic thoroughly. e.g. if there is question on RBI and monetary policy instruments, you do the topic of Monetary Policy very thoroughly. For this, you can pick up questions from 2011 onwards. And then, if you get extra time go back till 1995. You should be very selective in older questions while doing this since some may not be relevant now, and will un-necessarily eat up your time.
Best wishes for your exam!
